Born in Iredell County on December 12, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Michael Bennett Goodman, Sr., and Vernie Lee Donaldson Goodman Rainey.
Laura completed high school and spent her years working in food service. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Justin (Amber) Goodman of Sneads Ferry, NC and Brandon Goodman of Rockwell; her step-father, William Sherrill Rainey (Shelia WIlfong); four grandchildren, Cayden, Vaeda, Huxley and Zoey Goodman.
Laura is further survived by her brothers, Michael Bennett Goodman (Amy) of China Grove and William Blake Goodman of Salisbury, NC.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday Aug 26th at 4pm at 275 Arcadia Rd. China Grove NC 28023.
