David was born in Davidson County, NC, on April 11, 1968, to the late Conley Bruce Briggs and Mary Elizabeth Layton Briggs.
After graduating from South Rowan High School, Mr. Briggs spent many years working as a metal fabricator for General Electric Company. Outside of work, David enjoyed taking trips on the Blue Ridge Parkway with his sons and spending time with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish David’s memory include his sons, Dylan Briggs and his wife, Jasmine Briggs, and Brandon Briggs and his fiancé, Samantha Hicks; granddaughters, Isabella Grace Briggs and Elsie Harper Briggs; sister, Elizabeth Briggs; stepmother, Sandra Briggs; and his fur babies, Abby and Daisy.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home.
