Cynthia "Cindi" Dianne Tarlton

Mrs. Cynthia “Cindi” Dianne Deadmon Tarlton, age 69 of Landis, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Atrium Health – Cabarrus after a courageous battle with Covid 19. Born October 6, 1952 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Banks Alexander Deadmon and Zenna Faye Bare Deadmon. Cindi attended Lakeview Baptist Church when she was able and loved the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Cindi spent her career working as an administrative secretary for the Dept. of Corrections in Rowan County. Her greatest accomplishment after her career was the loving care and the devotion to her family. She adored them, cared for them and they meant everything to her, included in that circle was her precious fur baby, Nova.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 46 years, Mike Tarlton and her son, ChrisTarlton. She also leaves behind her sister, Libby Wilhelm (Mike), nieces, Angie Weaver (Danny) and Shelly Smoutherson (Theron), nephew, Shane Wilhelm along with her great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service for Cindi will be on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00pm at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, officiated by Pastor Tim Newton. In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requested you remember Cindi with memorials in her honor to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children at www.stjude.org.
