Crystal was born on December 16, 1969 in Cabarrus County and was the beloved daughter of Carolyn Sellers of Salisbury and the late Danny Crisco.
Crystal was a graduate of South Rowan High School and had worked with the Rowan County Government.
Crystal was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She had a passion for life. But her favorite passion was spending time with her family and the love of her life, her husband Jerry "Dell" Blevins whom she married on September 10, 1994.Together they would travel to the mountains and to the beach where you could find them surf fishing and or fishing from the pier. She and Dell recently returned from their first cruise to the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Islands.
Crystal also enjoyed cooking. In the summer you would find her in the kitchen canning vegetables she and Dell would grow in their garden. She would cook and or can food and would then give it to her family, friends and coworkers. Her coworkers would call her on her days off and ask her to cook something for them and of course Crystal, being the kind friend she was, would cook whatever they asked for and take it to them.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her nephew Andy Myers.
In addition to her mother, those left with cherished memories are her husband, Jerry "Dell" Blevins, sons Jeremy Blevins (Paula Nicole) and Christopher Barnette, sisters Sonya Allman (Alan) and Belinda Crisco (Mike). Her grandchildren CJ Barnette, Dillon Barnette, and Kendall Barnette; nieces, Britney, Alicia and Magen; nephew Cody, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00 at Christian Fellowship on Central Ave. in Kannapolis, NC with Pastor Tim Newton officiating.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to everyone who has brought food, called and or visited the family during this difficult time.
