Born on August 15, 1953 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Calvin Marshall Daniels and Shirley Anita James Daniels.
Anthony graduated with honors from East Rowan High School . He played semi-pro football with the Cardinals. He coached co-ed softball and played tennis and golf. He attended ECPI where he earned a computer degree. Anthony retired from Frito-Lay in Salisbury after 23 years of service. He later worked at different convenience stores in town for fun and socialization. He was a certified flagger for the state where he traveled for fun.
Anthony took his kids to many hockey games, concerts and various sporting events as they were growing up and continued to throughout his life. He would go surf fishing at the east coast beaches with family. Scratching lottery tickets got him "excited". His daily life consisted of wild and crazy events. He will always be remembered and loved.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild Riley Bracken.
Those with cherished memories are his son Anthony Lynn Daniels II (Lorie) and daughter Wendy Bracken (Chris), as well as brothers Timmy Daniels (Diane) and Phillip Daniels (Cheri), sisters Marsha Daniels Gobble (Odell) and Candy Daniels. Grandchildren are Ashley Daniels and Brilynn Daniels.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home with the funeral on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Landon Flinchum officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell.
