Anita T. "Sunny" Cook

Mrs. Anita T. " Sunny" Cook 84 of China Grove passed away on Thursday April 30, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House. Born on April 26, 1934 in Chesterfield County S.C., she was the daughter of the late Anderson and Grace Rivers Taylor. Sunny graduated from Landis High School and was of the Baptist faith. Earlier in life, she worked for Cannon Mills and Linn Corriher Mills. She and her husband were co-owners of C&D Salvage in China Grove. She particularly enjoyed traveling and riding her Harley trike. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Eugene Cook, son Billy Eugene Cook Jr. and daughter Kathy Cook Schrader.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Scott Cook (Cheryl) of China Grove, daughters Shayne Daugherty of Kannapolis and Frankie Barrier (Mark) of Concord. Also surviving her is her sister Candi Snider (Bob) of Salisbury as well as her grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Ryver, Melissa, Taylor, Ben, Seth, Sam, Kymberly, Kellie, Justin and Jordan. Also surviving her are her 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 6:00 till 8:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral on Monday at 11:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Billy Beaver, minister.
