Bob is survived by wife Eileen, son David (Monica), grandson Kabsten and granddaughter Kaitlyn, and many extended family and friends.
Bob is predeceased by his father Clarence, mother Jessie, brother John, and sister Dorothy.
Bob was born in St. Catherine's Ontario 24 August 1943 to Clarence and Jessie McSween. He had an older brother, John, and a younger sister, Dorothy.
Bob served in the Canadian Armed Forces, Field Engineer for 36 years and retired as a Master Warrant Officer 22 NOvember 1997. He served in Europe, Middle East, Alert and Canada.
He became a Master Mason in 1983 and in 2005 became Grand Master of Free and Accepted Masons of British Columbia and Yukon. Then in 2010 became Worthy Grand Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star of British Columbia and Yukon. Bob was active in several concordant bodies, ie, Shriners, Grotto, Scottish Rite, and also in the Royal Order of Scotland.
Bob was an achiever and in all he took on gave 100%. He enjoyed running and did marathons, he enjoyed walking and participated in 10K Volkmarches. He participated in the Terry Fox Marathon by assisting in Fund Raising at CFB Chilliwack. He also ran in the Olympic Torch Relay in St. Catharine's Ontario.
Bob adored his Grandchildren, Karsten and Kaitlyn, was so proud of his son and daughter-in-law.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, the 27th of April 2023 at Chilliwack Curling Club.
Memorial Donations may be made in Robert's name to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetics Organization.
