It was with great sadness that we heard that Muriel had succumbed to a dreadful illness. We are proud to say that we had known Muriel for 58 years, since Margaret worked with her in a research Lab. in Middleton. A nicer, kinder ,more generous person it would be hard to find. Even though we were thousands of miles apart we never lost contact. We fondly remember days together when Muriel and Greg came over to England, like  the day  in the Yorkshire Dales visiting vlllages and finding a fantastic cheese shop where we had afternoon tea. We send our heartfelt condolensces To Greg and family at this very sad time. John and Margaret, Prestwich.

Gregg,  I am so sorry for your loss.  I was in line dancing classes with her for many years and remember when we used to participate in the St. Patrick's Day parades.  Later we all learned to play Mah Jongg and spent many hours at that.  She was a good player and there was always fun and laughter when Muriel was around! My sympathy and prayers to you.

Our deepest sympathy to Gregg and Muriel's family.  Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.  

So sorry to hear of Muriels passing will miss her smile ! She was a wonderful human being full of vigor and fun ! She was what a lot of us hope to be at her age ! Fun ! Fit! And full of energy ! Thoughts and prayers to Gregg and family ! God bless you all

Gregg we are so saddened to hear of Muriel’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and we were fortunate to have crossed paths. She was an amazing cook and hostess- she so loved entertaining. We enjoyed lots of fun times in PEM.

Muriel was a wonderful lady - very friendly, always smiling, and always in motion.  She was one of the first people we got to know when we started coming to PEM. Gregg, please accept our deepest sympathies. We pray that your memories will console you during this sad time. 

I am so saddened to hear of Muriel's passing. She was known as the "energizer bunny " and the "dancing queen"  at the Pueblo El Mirage resort where I would meet her for many winters. Always loved being included in the annual Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner that she and Gregg would host on their driveway - such great times ! That corner spot will always be yours. Thanks for so many memories !  My condolences to Gregg and the whole family. Muriel was a blessing to many of us. 
 

Gregg I’m so sorry to hear about Muriel but at least she is no longer in pain. Gord and I enjoyed many good times with you and Muriel both in Abbotsford, Arizona and Blind Bay and I treasure those memories . Let your wonderful memories comfort you.

We considered Muriel as one of our very BEST friends. We so looked forward to her & Gregg's every visit to our place in the Shuswap. They had reservations on their own bedroom at our place always! Muriel & Gregg were also close neighbours at PEM in Arizona where both of us spent almost a full six months every winter for many, many seasons. Losing Muriel is like losing part of you! Even though we knew this was irreversible, it still was a shock and we mourn her death BUT we know that she is not suffering any long and  left to be united  with her mother and in good protected hands of our Lord and we will all be together again one day.
