Mariann Mitchell Bjaanes passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2023, at the Chilliwack General Hospital in B.C. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Roger, and her three children, Paula, Scott and Erica. She will be lovingly and fondly remembered by her beautiful grandchildren; Courtney, Taylor, Mitchell, Riley, Graydon and Ryder. Mariann was predeceased by her parents Warren Hutcheon Mitchell and Anna Barbara Boyd Mitchell and her brother Warren "Skip" Mitchell. Mariann was born in 1944 in Hayward, California and was raised in the neighboring bedroom community of Castro Valley, close to the San Francisco Bay area. After a chance meeting with her husband Roger in 1970, they were married and moved to Canada where Mariann continued her career as a dental assistant and was a loving, kind and beautiful mother and wife to her family. She was a rock that left an unforgettable and heartfelt memory with everyone who met her.
