Gil is lovingly remembered by his wife Diane of 56 years, their children, Darlene, Debbie (James), David (Teresa), Patrick Julian, his many grandchildren and his siblings Glen (Margaret) and Pearl.
Gil was born on April 14, 1941 in Chilliwack, BC to William and June Gore.
Gil’s successful Same Day T.V. Store was an asset to the community as Gil was known as trustworthy, honest and reliable. As a result many of his customers became his friends.
Gil enjoyed fishing, reading and gospel concerts. He was known as a fun loving joke teller but his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. His positive, half glass full, attitude was a blessing to his family. He freely shared his wisdom with his children and grandchildren giving advice and life lessons.
Gil invested in people enriching the lives of others. His zest for life was contagious. Gil loved his family and fought hard through pain to overcome his illness. His strength was evident to many. Ultimately, the Lord called him home.
While Gil’s passing has left a huge void, his legacy will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
