Genevieve Beverley Catto passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Chilliwack Hospital at age 93 years. She was born September 29, 1928 at Rossland, British Columbia to Robert and Genevieve Trembath.
Bev is survived by her children Laura Catto, Mike (Lynn) Catto and David Catto. Grandchildren Paterick English, Larisa Newman, Pamela Brayford and Danielle Brayford, and Great Granddaughter Jordan English She was predeceased by her husband Russell, her daughter Suzanne, grandson Sean, Sister Lorraine (Rainy), and Brother Robert.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 10:00am to 12:00pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
She was involved in the Golden Ears Lions Club, volunteered with Chilliwack Seniors Resources Society (not recently as her health did not allow). She was also involved in Girl Guides when her children were young.
Bev loved holidays… all of them! She especially loved Christmas. She volunteered with her friend, Alberta, to deliver the “Lounge Lizard”, a publication for seniors in Chilliwack.
