Funeral service for Shirley F. Parsons, age 78, of Childersburg will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2PM at the First United Methodist Church in Childersburg with Rev. Amy Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 5-7PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.
Mrs. Parsons passed away June 2, 2017 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her grandkids and great grandkids and was loved by them all. Survivors are her husband: Larry Parsons, sons: Dale Smith, Tracy Carroll, grandchildren: Elizabeth Anderson, Brad Carroll, Lindsey Carroll, Misty Myers, Sarah Moore, great grandchildren: Ruby Anderson, Pearl Anderson, Michael Kincannon, Daisy Kincannon and William Isaac Moore.
