Thomas T. Morris passed away peacefully on February 16th, 2024 at the age of 62 years old. He was born on August 5th 1961 in Augsburg, Germany to parents Sieglinde Saule and Emmett Morris. He lived out his life in Chicago, Illinois.
Thomas was preceded in death by his Father Emmett Morris and Step Mother Melinda Morris.
Thomas is survived by his Mother Sieglinde Almeida and husband Mike, Sister Kreszentia Morris-Opana and husband Phelix, Sister and Bestfriend Heidi Mason-Sotomayor and husband Orlando, Brother Gary L Mason and wife Cindy, Sister Michelle Morris, Sister Tanya Mason-Capalla, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an Airman First Class. He worked for the City of Chicago at the Water Department for many years. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History.
Thomas was an exemplary brother, son, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend, and human being. He embodied the best of qualities; unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen by all that loved him. He accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a huge smile.
Thomas had a love for the Theatre and music, always posting a song in reference to the mood he was feeling. He is and always will be a guiding light, an open book with various scenarios that convey his love for spiritual advice and referencing his life experiences and stories.
He loved to find new recipes to share with his close family and friends. He had a love for sports. His favorite football team was the Chicago Bears. He loved to fish and he was looking forward to his retirement.
His departure was a great shock and deep wound and it is greatly felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply in his wide network of community.
