Rosendo "Frank" Torres

Torres, Rosendo “Frank”, 78, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife Leandra “Punkey” of 52 years; beloved father of Frank (Eva), Michael, (Amy), Steven (Alicia), and Kevin (Amanda); cherished grandfather of eighteen, great grandfather of three; survived by four brothers, three sisters, uncle to many nieces and nephews, and loving in laws. Frank graduated from Harrison high school and attended DePaul University. He proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for Mission Investment Fund of the ELCA; Past Officer in St. Pius X Parents Club, and Bob Cat Wrestling Club. Frank was a member with the American Legion Post 687 and the Morton High School Wrestling. Some of his pastimes included sports, coaching wrestling, baseball, basketball over 50 years. Frank will be best remembered for being the Coordinator of St. Pius X School Eagle Run for nine years, avid runner, dog walker, crossing guard for the Village of Stickney.

Memorial visitation will be on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 W. Archer Ave., Chicago, IL. Services conclude this evening.
