Tio Rene we will truly miss you. Octavio and I thank you for loving us and just the kindness you shared. I will miss you always making me laugh. I loved seeing how much you loved my aunt and how loving you both where to each other. You were born with such a loving heart that you made such an impression on my family. My children know you Tio as the one  who truly has a love story with Tia. I know that the memories I hold of you will never be forgotten. I will see you one day Too and I know you will make me laugh again .  Until we meet again Tio tell Jesus to protect us. God bless you.

I am so sorry for your Loss, I wanna say he will truly be missed. 
Rene was a Gentle Soul, as others mentioned, I knew Rene since 
I was Little, They lived right above from us on Mozart and Fullerton.
I use to watch their kids when He and Alice had to go somewhere.
Anyway he was a Great Brother-in-Law, always being so gracious.
He and Leecha would hang out with us on Washtenaw and Altgeld,
Where our kid use to play under the water pump, and just hang out listening
To Oldies but Goodies. LOL those were the good old days.
He loved his family dearly. Always asked my mom , if she needed anything
He was just a couple of stairs above.  And his music , I grew up with his music, as well
I loved hearing his jams, as he called it. He will always be in our hearts, as all of our
Past losses. They left us with great memories , and we will all one day unite with them.
you will never be forgotten, Rest In Peace Rene.

You don't hear to much about Fathers in Law but I must say that mine is one of the best! 
What makes him so special in my eyes is that he lead by example.  The father of three children and each one of them looked up to their Father with respect, love, and admiration.  He loved his family unconditionally.  He doted on his beautiful loving wife, Alicia, his wonderful children, and grandkids like no man ever does. Truly a man's man, a family man, and someone I truly look up to!
No matter what kind of day you've had, he'd find a way to put a smile on your face and make you laugh.
Rene, thank you for giving me my greatest gift, my three men!  Thank you for leading with strength, wisdom, and love. You've always been devoted to your family and you've set such a loving example for us all!
You've raised a great family - I'm so blessed to be part of it 🙏

My memory with this wonderful person who is my brother in law., I will never use was. I met
Rene in 1963 , he became my sisters  boyfriend 
Shortly after I met him . I remember my sister didn’t like him, little did she know that he would become the LOVE of her life. He is such a nice guy , I never seen him lose his temper . I remember him coming over to see my sister in his 1959 impala. My sister says it was light blue
I say aqua blue and white, I told her to leave me alone , it’s my memory not hers, we laugh at that,  She says okay it’s my memory so it’s my color Lol. Rene has my sister spoiled through out their marriage and she knows it. He is a wonderful husband and a great dad and is a 
great friend to all who knows him. To me he  is my big brother. Rene I Love you and you will always live in my heart. I will see you later. God Bless.

I miss you so much ❤️ Your voice, your smile, your existence. Everything. 

My grandfather was one of my greatest loves! He was the true definition of what a man should be. Anytime I left the house he’d walk me to my car and stand outside until
I drove away. Whenever it snowed he’d have my car shoveled out and clean so that I wouldn’t be late to work. If he heard the door open he was ready to help carry my bags and make sure the doors were securely locked behind me. With him chivalry was so very alive. I lived with him for most of my life and for my entire life I was his big baby; his Mandy. I remember being in the basement (his man cave) learning about oldies music, classic movies or watching documentaries about animals. He loved to be surrounded by his grandkids, or as he called us “the kiddies”. We could do no wrong in his eyes. He was the smartest, the funniest, and the most loving. His laugh is what I’ll miss the most. RIP Grandpa, til we meet again!

I have nothing but good memories of Rene,  he was a kind, gentle loving man. Who would do anything for Alicia and his family.. I saw them as true soulmates something I always admired about them.  I remember his love for music and Michael Jackson well all of Motown lol.  He loved to hang out what we all know today as his man cave his (basement) I remember if you touched his videos you were in trouble! Lol life is not always fair and unfortunately some of our loved ones have to go home because that’s what God does he calls them home to prepare them to watch over us until his return.  Rene Rest In Peace. Praying for your family during this difficult time
