Miguel Cruz Jr , born in Chicago, Illinois to Miguel and Maria Cruz. Has passed away on December 4th, 2024 at the age of 43 years. Survived by his wife Margarita and children Miguel, Jocelyn, Aziya, Angelina and Lisel along with stepchildren Alexis and Destiny and brothers Osvaldo and Gabriel. Preceded in death by his sister Lisel Cruz.
A man with great curiosity, Miguel approached life with a sense of purpose, enthusiasm and an infectious spirit . He was not one to shy away from challenges and always found a way to overcome them ,earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him . He was an adventurous man that traveled to the unknown constantly leading to numerous new friends near and far. Miguel leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and an unrelenting pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement.
Although life often presented challenges that have held him back, he always found a way to rise above them. No matter the obstacle, his resilience and the unwavering spirit ensured that he overcame whatever stood in his way. His ability to persevere and remain positive in the face of adversity was truly inspiring .
He was capable of everything he set his mind to and would not accept a no for an answer. Miguel had the best hustle many have aspired to have and was not afraid of anything. He knew how to talk to people and won their hearts with his charm and loving ways.
Miguel’s spirit will live on countlessly. He will be deeply missed by his family friends and whose lives he touched.
A visitation for Miguel will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Andrew J McGann & Sons Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60655. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St Mary Star Of The Sea Catholic Church, 6435 S Kilbourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60629. Interment at St Casimir Catholic Cemetery, 4401 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655.
