Katherine Berg

Katherine Berg (nee) Glaviano born August 24, 1923 living to age 100. Daughter of the late Frank and the late Maria (nee Cottonaro) Glaviano. Wife of the late Warren. Loving Mother of Darlene (Jack) Schultz, the late Linda Berg and Nadine (Michal) Saunders. Fond Grandmother of Kevin (Jennifer) Schultz and Jennifer (Robert) Elliott. Great-Grandmother of Nicholas Elliott, Sam Elliott and Brooklynn Schultz. Sister of the late Mary Glaviano, the late Frances Nelson, the late Charles Glaviano, the late Anthony Glaviano and the late Nicholas Glaviano. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Kay enjoyed dancing, playing poker, bowling and a devoted fan of the Chicago Bulls and Cubs. Born and raised in the Old Town area and spent the last 40 years enjoying the northwest side before moving 1 1/2 years ago to Norwood Crossing Nursing Home where she had wonderful care and made many friends. She will be missed by many.

A visitation for Katherine will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634.
