Jose C. Herrera, 61, of Chicago passed away suddenly Sunday January 26, 2014. Born in Durango Mexico on Saturday June 14, 1952 to Isaac and Victoria (née Chacon) Herrera. Beloved husband of Elia née Prado; devoted father of Alex (Gina Santellano) Herrera, Josephina (Michael) Cossio, Eduardo Herrera and Jocelyn Herrera; loving grandfather of Michael and Ella Herrera; dear brother of many sisters and brothers; loving uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews; fond cousin and friend to many. Visitation Friday January 31, 2014 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago where prayers will be said 9:30am Saturday February 1, 2014 to St. Genevieve Church for mass of the resurrection at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery Niles, IL
