Born in La Crosse, WI on Friday May 2, 1919 to John William and Mary Elizabeth (née Hemerbach) Brophy. Beloved husband of the late Ann Marie (née De Stefano) Brophy. Devoted father of John and Ronald Brophy. Loving brother of William (Mary), Joseph (Lydia), Alice (Martin), Isabelle (Carl), Madelyn (Mark), Marcella (Adolph), Mary Ellen (Henry); loving uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday November 24, 2012 from 9:00am until time of prayers 10:00am to St. Priscilla Church for a 10:30am mass of the resurrection. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery Hillside, Illinois.
