Fabiola Cardona, age 93, was born in Armenia, Colombia on December 2, 1928, she immigrated to Chicago Il in 1990 and passed on March 17, 2022. Fabiola was a loving Mother of Humberto (Chino) Nunez, Uriel (Mijo) Nunez, and Luz Elena (Nena) Nunez; adoring Grandma of Diego Nunez, Jessica Patino, Uriel Alberto Nunez, John Nunez and Randy Patino; most adoring great-grandmother of Fabian Nunez, Azul Nunez, Matias Nunez, Sebastian Nunez and Benjamin Nunez; beloved Sister of Olga Cardona and Arcadio Cardona; beloved Mother-in-law of Maria M Nunez; most endearing Grand Mother-in-Law of Diana Suarez, Johana Wrobel and Angie Sarmiento.
Fabiola was always the reason for the family to gather and share beautiful memorie, Fabiola always was recognized by her elegance, nobility and sweetness. She loved to pray every day at 5 pm and meet with her children every Sunday afternoon. Fabiola always maintained good eating habits, drinking water and walking routines. Fabiola was placed in home hospice care and was surrounded by her family, where they cared for her until she passed peacefully at Swedish Covenant Hospital.
