Donald P. Daly, age 81, US Navy Veteran, of the South Suburbs of Chicago, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021 while surrounded by family. Loving husband of over 55 years to Joyce Daly, nee Kennedy; Cherished dad to Karen (Art) Fletcher, Don (Beth) Daly, Debbie Daly, Tricia (Rick) Peabody, and Patti Daly-Egan; Best grandpa to Meghan, Kaitlyn, Callie, Eli, Maura, Erin, Ava, Kate, Taylor, J.T., Maddie, and Liam; Dear brother to Mary Kienlen; Fond brother-in-law to Joan (Tom) Koin, the late James Kennedy, and Janice (late Billy) Carr; Uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Gertrude Daly, his siblings, Gene, Jim, Tom (Arlene), and Timmy, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Ruth Kennedy. Visitation for Donald will be from 3-8 PM on Thursday, June 3, at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S Pulaski, Chicago. Funeral to begin at 11:15 AM on Friday, June 4, at the Funeral Home, where we will proceed to St. Alexander Church, 7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, for a 12 Noon Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Private. St. Alexander requires you to sign up if you are attending Mass. You may do so by signing up on the night of the visitation at the Funeral Home or by calling 773-783-7700 if you are not planning on attending the visitation.
