Deborah Ann Sikorski

Deborah Ann Sikorski nee Elstner, age 70, of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born May 28, 1953, she is predeceased by her parents Richard and Josephine Elstner nee Gacek.

Cherished mother of Melissa (Arden) Freeman, Kimberly (Douglas) Ogarek and Jason (Katherine); mama Debbie to Aaron (Julie); cherished nana of Ryann, Scott, Aidan, Kate, Caleb, Sophia, Henry, Grace, and Wade; nana Debbie to Michaela, Joseph, and Alaina; dear former spouse of Jerome (Christine); beloved sister of Ricky (Debie), Gary, Kenny (Tammy), Sue (Dan), John (Bernie) and the late Kevin (Veronica); adored aunt of the late Scott Elstner; dearest aunt, cousin and loving friend of so many.

Debbie attended St Richard Elementary School and John F. Kennedy High School in Chicago, IL. She started a family soon after and was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed. Debbie worked in the beauty industry for many years where she loved accumulating lots of hair products and hair styles. She was the proud owner of a laundry mat and gift shop where she enjoyed interacting with the customers. Despite her hectic schedule, family and friends were Debbie’s passion and delight. She always had a kind word to say about others and wrote beautiful words of encouragement to all.

The family wishes to thank all of those who provided their support and kind words during her last days. For those who have known Debbie in her journey with us, her funeral service will be at St Mary Star of the Sea, 6435 S Kilbourn Ave, Chicago, IL on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 am.
