Anita Gail Palma of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024 at 70 years old. Anita was a true pillar of strength, resilience, and grace. Her warm presence, infectious laughter, and kind-hearted nature left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. Throughout her journey, she selflessly dedicated herself to the well-being and happiness of those around her, making every occasion and interaction more memorable. She also lived by her faith in God, the principles of love, compassion, and forgiveness. Anita expressed her passion and creativity through her hobbies and interests including jewelry making, crafting, reading, & her love for music. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Locklear and Elizabeth Jackson & her beloved brother, Frank “Gary” Locklear. She is celebrated in life by sons; John Lombardi and Devin Palma; Her daughters, Nicole Lombardi, Danielle Palma, and Christina Palma; And her grandchildren; Anthony, Natalya, Angelina, Kaden, Martin Nico, Julian, & Dominic. She was also celebrated by many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family and Friends will gather for a visitation for Anita on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave Chicago, IL 60646.
