Timothy Dean Skapura

Timothy Dean Skapura, of Chesterland, Ohio, entered eternal rest on December 19, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on July 6, 1958, in Canton, Ohio, to Mary Jo and Joseph Skapura (Mark Scott), Timothy’s life was defined by faith, love, and the joy found in meaningful connections.

In his early years, Timothy traveled extensively across the United States with his family, experiences that nurtured his lifelong love of nature and the outdoors. After living in Sausalito, California, he eventually made his home in Chesterland, Ohio, where he built a life filled with devotion to family and meaningful connections.

A man of quiet strength and unwavering faith in God, Timothy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He cherished peaceful walks through the woods with his beloved wife Sharon and treasured moments spent sharing cigars with his son Nicholas and Uncle Roger. His granddaughters, Alexandria and Savannah, were the light of his life and their laughter brought him immense happiness and pride. His love for his granddaughters was clear as everything centered around them illuminating his days with their love and affection.

Timothy is lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon; his son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Rachel; granddaughters Alexandria and Savannah; his mother Mary Jo (stepfather, Merle); his brother Mark (wife, Lisa); sisters Kimberly (husband, Daniel) and Stacy (husband, Randall); and his Uncle Roger (wife, Wendy). His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

May Timothy’s enduring faith and love for life remind us all to find joy in simple blessings and cherish the bonds that bring us together. May he rest peacefully in God’s eternal care.

Please join us in Timothy Dean Skapura's Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Chesterland Baptist Church (12670 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio). The visitation will be from 10 am - 12; followed by services from 12 - 1.
