Suzanne Elaine Rosati, age 85, a resident of Montville Township for 65 years, passed away in her home on December 9th, 2024. Mrs. Rosati (nee Ploom) was born on January 12, 1939 to the late Frank and Barbra Ploom. A 1958 John Marshall High School graduate, she Married Ronald Rosati on July 30, 1960 and together raised two children. Suzanne was a ballet dancer and eventually opened Ballet of Art Dance Studio. Suzanne loved teaching ballet and was able to develop lifelong relationships with so many special students. In addition to teaching Suzanne also helped run the small family farm for many years. Suzanne enjoyed feeding the birds, planting flowers, picking blackberries, bailing hay, stacking wood, writing, reading, cooking, watching Kojak, and taking care of the dogs.
Suzanne is preceded in death by husband Ronald and survived by her daughter Melissa (Michael) Scorca; son Matthew (Christine) Rosati; three grandchildren Kalli, Anthony, and Nicolette. Sister Carol (Raymond) Decker, Nieces Debbie, Wendy, Claudia, nephews Christopher, Jonathan. Special friend Olivia Hoffman, and all of her dancing students that she took so much pride watching them grow over the years.
Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Thursday, December 12, 2024, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, where services will follow at 2:00 pm. Private Interment at a later date at Hambden Township Cemetery, Hambden Township.
