We recently learned of Mike’s untimely passing and wanted to extend our most sincere condolences to Gina and their family. We lived across the street from Mike and Gina for the last 3.5 years in Kirtland and he was always so friendly and offered his help if we ever needed it. We were sad to see them move out of the neighborhood. Sending prayers to all for healing and strength during such a difficult time.

Gina and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Mike.  I worked with Mike at Ohio Cat and always enjoyed working with him, and talking with him about other life issues.  He was a hard worker who took his job seriously so that he could provide the life he wanted for himself and the family.  May you find peace and comfort in the good memories of Mike in the difficult days ahead.

Spike was one of my brother Mike (Bezilla's) best friends since they were little boys.  I can remember Spike having to drive about 10 of us Bezilla home form the toboggan shoots in Strongsville one New Year's Eve night, because we locked our keys in our car!  It was a long and funny ride home!  I remember vividly "the boys" Mike, Spike, the Johnson boys, Chris Kupec, they all had a LOT of fun at my wedding.  Like, too much fun.  And then they all signed a wedding card and through a bunch of cash in there, whatever they had in their wallets!
Then on another New Year's Eve, they all showed up at our apartment door, un-announced, of course! I guess they thought we were having a party, and were hoping for some free beer!!Spike never missed an opportunity to tell me how much he loved my brother and what good friends they were. And I mean, EVERY time we ran into each other at a party, get-together, or in a store.  Spike TRULY took true friendship to heart.  Rest In Peace, Mike Lane. Know that you were loved and that we were all blessed to have known you whether as a friend, or as a son, or as a brother, father, uncle, husband, co-worker, cousin, or grandson. God Bless You.  You will be missed.

I have so many good memories of Mike, I could write a novel.  
He was a truly good guy who always had a smile on his face and did his best to put one on your face.
He could talk to anyone... and usually did.
I know how hard this is for his family but I appreciate the time with Mike that you allowed all of us over the past several months.
I pray for peace, good memories and the internal toughness of Mike-Spike Lane for us all.

Rest in peace my friend.

Mike was one of the happiest of the OSU buddies. He always had a smile and a kind word for all.  His good humor and lighthearted nature will be missed. My life is richer for knowing Mike.

Mike is  the best friend a guy could  ever have. He was a groomsman in  our wedding and we had so many great memories with him  while at OSU. 
We always felt so much better after spending time with him because he had a special quality that lifted others up. 

He fought a tough battle until the very end.  

Our deepest condolences are extended to  Gina, Ben, Haley,  Danny, Mom and family.
