John A. Johnson, age 49, passed away November 24, 2021 in Concord Twp. Born April 17, 1972 in Madison, he grew up living in Kirtland before moving to Concord Twp. in 2008. John was the owner of Home Remedies and Daughters for 20 years. In his younger years he raced quads with CRA Racing, and later loved traveling with his daughter Morgan while she competed in quad and dirt bike racing with GNCC Racing. John was an animal lover and often rescued animals, many of whom he brought home to become family pets. His greatest love was his family, and was known by all as a person who was always there to help any family member or friend in need. John is survived by his wife Stacey (nee Varner); daughters Madison and Morgan Johnson; parents Deborah and Bill Johnson; and sister Shawnna (Brian) Thomas. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and AuVergne Johnson, and Leonard and Mary Lou Wietrzykowski.
