Joanne Chambers

Joanne Chambers, age 87, passed away peacefully September 14, 2022 in Newbury Twp. surrounded by her daughters. Born March 11, 1935 in Williamsfield, she lived in Chester Twp. before moving to Newbury Twp. Joanne worked for Johnson and Johnson as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crafting of dolls. During the Christmas Season, which she adored, Joanne also loved crafting Christmas ornaments. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, often playing cards and other games with them. Joanne was quite the cookie maker, which her family all enjoyed. Joanne is survived by her daughters Pat (Doug) Benson, Maureen Atchley, Laurie (Bill) Roth, and Kathy (Vince) Kaucic; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Chambers; and brother William Grabert. Family and friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland on Monday 4 – 7 pm, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment at Chester Township Cemetery.
