Carolyn A. Barbish

Carolyn A. Barbish, age 73, of Mentor, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Born in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Thomas and Roberta (nee Byrum) Beeman. She is preceded in death by her sister, Patti Kurrent and son Joe Barbish.

Carolyn is survived by her son Andy Barbish (Jen); grandson Joey Baldrige (Kelsey); great-granddaughters Emery and Adelae; sister Sandy Cannon (Terry); nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

She was a nurse at the Lake County Jail for 28 years; volunteer with Lake County Humane Society; and cared for many in need as a Victim's Advocate in Mentor, Lake County. She was an animal lover and avid gardener.

Visitation will be held at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home located at 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio 44026 on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1pm until 3:30pm with a Celebration of Carolyn's Life at 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve or Lake County Humane Society in Carolyn's memory.
