Ted was born on May 11, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Barberton, Ohio, and lived and worked in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, at Babcock & Wilcox Company and the Tennessee Valley Authority, respectively. He was an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Rocky Top Travelers. He was born to eternal life on November 21, 2020. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of forty-nine years, Mary, son, Sean (Ashley), and grandchildren, Braden, Kaitlyn, and Allison.
“Due to Covid, a private funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 1 at 11:00 AM for immediate family only, which will be live streamed on the St. Stephen Facebook page. He will be interred at the Columbarium at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Knoxville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church, 7111 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather together in celebration of Ted’s life.”
