A lifelong resident of Chattanooga before moving to Acworth, GA, she was a graduate of Hixson High School, Class of 1969, and was retired from the office of Tony Musarra M.D.. She was a member of the Resurrection Anglican Church in Woodstock, GA.
She was the daughter of the late Sally and Woody Eaton and was also preceded in death by a brother, David Eaton.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Hawes; son Eric Hawes and her brother, Barry Eaton.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Prince officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 am till 1 p.m. Friday before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
