Mrs. Rutemeyer graduated from Central High School in 1946 and was a nurse. She and her husband lived in Jackson, TN for 32 years. After he passed away she moved to Chattanooga in 2001. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald O. Rutemeyer; and parents, Olin and Hester Keef.
Surviving are her son Michael D. (Linda) Rutemeyer; grandson,
Raymond Cooke, Jr.; granddaughter, Renee Eldridge; and great-grandson, Brandon Eldridge.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM on Wednesday, May 16th at the Valley View Chapel followed by a 3 PM Funeral Service with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating.
A Graveside Service will be at 10 AM CST on Friday, May 18th at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN.
