Linda Watkins - Smith

She was an active member of Clearview Baptist Church, now known as Fort Baptist Church. Linda was retired from JCPenney Department Store for visual merchandising after many years of service. She enjoyed square dancing with the National Square Dance Community where she held several offices, and Linda loved helping people at the Christ Chapel Care & Share Mission as a volunteer.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, E.S. McDaniel and Barbara McDaniel of Ringgold, GA.

Left to cherish her memory are sister, Debbie (Jack) White of Ringgold, GA; brothers, Tommy (Karin) McDaniel and Jerry (Carolyn) McDaniel both of Ringgold, GA; daughters, Cheryl (Young) Brock of Ringgold, GA and Karen (Paul) Acuff of Dayton, TN; multiple grandchildren; great grandchildren; and her little dog, Hank.

A Celebration of life for Linda will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
