She was the daughter of the late James and Ruth Maxwell and was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Guethlein, and second husband, Bill Smith.
Linda was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church for over 25 years. She served as a counselor for the Care Ministry, sang in the choir, worked with the Caraway Street Children’s Ministry and the WOW (Women of Worth) Widow’s Ministry. She also served as a board member of Chosen Blessings Adoption Ministry at Silverdale Baptist and was active with the Tres Dias Community where she attended and served on weekends.
Survivors include her son, Lin Guethlein (Karen), of Calhoun, TN, five grandchildren, Cassie Loizeaux (Chris), Samantha Baskette (Alex), Lindon, James and Elizabeth Guethlein, great granddaughter, Ruthie Loizeaux, brother, Rellon Maxwell (Carolyn), of Gallatin, TN, sister, Dean Phillips, of Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Silverdale Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Wallister officiating. A private interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens – East.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Saturday at the church.
