He was a retired Captain from the Chattanooga Fire Department after 25 years of service. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
His father, Lewis N. Guinn, Sr., and sister, Susan Noreen Guinn preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Wilma P. Guinn of Ooltewah; sister, Emily Van Horn of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. Billy Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
