He was a member of Kelly’s Ferry Community Church and was preceded in death by his Mother, Jewel Marie Haswell; sister, Rita Houser; and brother, William Earl Haswell.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Jackson; his daughter, Tina Jackson Hillman (William); his step-children, Angela Johnson, Tonia Holland, Frank Johnson and Teresa Wooten; his brother, Randy Lee Haswell; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
John was a good, hardworking man. He was a loving father and husband who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He retired from Wheland Foundry in the mid 1990’s and then ran his own excavation business until he fully retired at the age of 70. He is deeply loved by his family and he will be missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, 3/24/18, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in Advantage Chapel.
