James Edward Wright

Mr. Wright was born May 20, 1942 to Eddie Wright and Eaphis McDaniel of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was educated in Chattanooga Public Schools and graduated from Howard High School. Mr Wright was a former employee at Erlanger Hospital. He was a member of the Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church, were he served on the Usher Board and as a Greeter.

James Edward wright departed this earthly life on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Parkridge Medical Center at the age of 81 years old.

Among those who preceded James Edward Wright in death include his parents Eddie Wright and Eaphis McDaniel; brothers Willie, Leroy and King David; his sisters Roesana, Alzie, Pauline, Clarlsie and Peggy; two grandsons Tedrick Walker and Jacquard Petty.

Cherishing his memories include his four children Shirline Wright, Theodore Wright and Diane ( DeAngelo Newson of Chattanooga, TN, and Brenda Wright of Greenville, S.C.; his sister Bessie Lovelace of Chattanooga, TN; fifteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special friend of 42 years Lottie Stamper.
