Hut was very good with a camera. He worked in television and video production for a local news affiliate and video production for a commercial production team. Hut loved film and dreamed of one day becoming a film- maker.
Hut was preceded in death by his father, former United Methodist Minister, Reverend James H. Greever, Sr.; and two aunts, Katherine Granert and Almeda Granert.
Those he leaves behind are his mother, Peggy Greever of Chattanooga, TN; sons, James W. P. Dietzen of Chattanooga and Andrew Greever of Birmingham, AL; daughters, Megan Greever of Chattanooga and Sarah Boggs of Seattle, WA; brother, Philip (Melissa) Greever of East Ridge; sisters, Shelia (Robert) Barber of Salem, VA and Kay (Martin) Smith of Lewisburg, WV; and his aunt, Bobbie Webb of South Pittsburg, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to please donate to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
A private service will be held at a later date.
