Elizabeth Barham, most beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many went to be with her Lord and Savior. Elizabeth was a lover of God, family, friends, travel, adventure, and fun. People were drawn to her compassionate and spunky spirit along with her grace and elegance. 35 years, she worked in real estate as a Realtor and Broker for Fletcher Bright Company. Elizabeth was a member of Scenic City Sisters, Notre Dame Alumni Class of 1962, birthday club and officer of Beta Sigma Phi for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Anne and Claude Phillips and her brother Claude Robert (Bobby) Phillips.
She is survived by her husband Jim Barham, son Mark Barham and wife Tammie, daughter Hala Butler and husband Johnny Butler, granddaughter Kayla and husband Daniel Seawell, step-son Richard Barham, step-daughter Sharon Huber and her daughter Anna Huber. Elizabeth was the oldest of the nine children of Anne and Claude Phillips, surviving siblings are Sister Mary Claudia, David, Margaret, Jim, Sally, Claudia, and Tom.
Visitation on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 5-7 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church, 903 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415, prayer service to follow.
Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 21, at 2 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church with
Reverend Msgr. Al Humbrecht and Reverend Charles Burton
