She was the daughter of the late L. E. White and Billie Morris and was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Skipper.
Donna was a lover of life. She smiled the biggest at the sight of her children and her grandchildren. She was a very caring and giving person.
She worked as an RN for the Diagnostic Center and had worked in several Chattanooga area hospitals throughout her career.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Jimmy Wayne Dickey, Sr., three children, Kimberly Lynn Tingle (Scott), of Hixson, TN., Kera Dawn Brazier (John), of Ooltewah, TN., Jimmy Wayne Dickey, Jr. (Jessica), of Chattanooga, TN., eight grandchildren, Hannah Tingle, Drew Pastusic, Evan Pastusic, Emilia Pastusic, Olivia Dickey, James Dickey, Jayson Brazier, Alyson Brazier, two sisters, Patricia Skipper, Linda Holcomb, both of Chattanooga, TN., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday and from 12 – 2 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
