Demetra B. "Mickey" Jones

She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Zona Davison and was preceded in death by her husband, B. F. Jones and nine siblings.

She retired as a dietary supervisor from Erlanger Hospital. She was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church for 60 years.

Survivors include her four daughters, Betty Jean (Butch) Williams, of Chattanooga, TN, Carolyn (Terry) Stewart, of Ringgold, GA, Patricia (Richard) Winston, of Ooltewah, TN, Diane Jones, of Chattanooga, TN, six grandchildren, Melody Gaut, Darren Williams, Geoffery Howard, Chad Howard, Lynn Kissner, Noah Derrick, six great grandchildren, Kelsey, Tiffanie, Alicia, Luke, Hannah, Calynn, one great-great grandchild, Savannah, three step grandchildren, Travis Stewart, Lyle Stewart, Kim Frassrand, three step great grandchildren, Maya, Tucker, Shelby and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Walliser officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Silverdale Baptist Church.
