Mrs. Bennett had lived in Rossville for 37 years and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Blount; sisters, Gayle Bonner, Susan Ingram; and brothers, Rockey Blount, Eugene Blount and Joshua Blount.
Survivors include her mother, Janie Hardin; husband of 39 years, Jimbo Bennett; daughter, Angie
(David) Gamble; sons, Terry (Tammy) Ellis, Jr., and Jamie Woodward; grandchildren; Taylor
(Tucker) Wilson, Terry (Alaina) Ellis III, Tyler (Leah) Ellis, Hunter Woodward, Ryker Woodward,
and Ivy Woodward; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Bell, Dawson Rhett, Charleston Kate and
Jackson Lee; sisters, Elaine Gurley, Iesha Devine and Margo Wynkoop; brother, Tony Blount; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:30 am at Pathway Baptist Church (9754 East Brainerd Rd., Ooltewah, TN 37363) with her grandson, Bro. Tyler Ellis and Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating.
