She was the daughter of the late Arlie and Munsee Pierce and was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Anderson, three brothers, David, Paul and Ernie Pierce and two sisters, Della Adams and Tootsie Oldham.
Charlyn was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was always involved in church service whether it was heading up a prayer chain or ministering to members by writing cards for special occasions. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Pam Anderson, of Chattanooga, TN, grandson, Dustin (Sarah) Anderson, three great grandchildren, Seth, Brenna and Henry and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2021, at Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the funeral home.
