Carolyn Garmany

Carolyn Garmany, 69 of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was born to the late Loach Beck Huguley and Gladys Heard on April 24, 1953. She passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Erlanger Hospital with family by her side.

Carolyn was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Lafayette, Alabama. While attending Lafayette High School, she was a cheerleader. In 2007, she retired for Shaw Industries where she had worked from 2002 to 2007. She was a strong woman and she fought a good fight against her illnesses. To know her is to love her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Loach Beck Huguley and her mother, Gladys Heard.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Pamela Ballard (Robert Jr.), her son Bartholomew Boyd; Her grandchildren: R’meikah Ballard, Raliyah Ballard, Robert Ballard III, Samone Boyd, Justin Jones, Prince and King; sisters: Erma Jones, Brenda Phillips, Mary Thomas; brother: Willie James Huguley; Special Friend: Johnny and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Carolyn will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Franklin-Stricklan Chapel, McCallie Ave.
