Bill Patterson

Mr. Patterson was born in Fairfax, Alabama, on December 25, 1934, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Gwyn Crenshaw Patterson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Draper, brothers, Forrest, Ozie and Fred Patterson.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Theresa) Patterson of Cumming GA, and a daughter, Janet Gore of Orlando, FL, sister, Gail Anthony, of Valley, Al.., special friend, Telva Chafin of Ringgold, GA., grandchildren, Amanda Tolosa, Noah Patterson, Robby Boleman and Chris Gore, great grandchildren, Kylie Taylor, Keegan and Logan Tolosa and Bennett Boleman, sisters-in-laws, Macie Patterson and Dot Patterson, a niece and several nephews.

Mr. Patterson was a member of Concord Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Tommy Carmichael Sunday School Class, and served on numerous committees. He was retired from Candlewick Yarns in Ringgold, GA. He was a graduate of Auburn University.

Bill enjoyed attending the YMCA, running in his younger years, wood working, gardening and working in his yards.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1pm on Monday, December 16, 2024 in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1pm with Pastor David King officiating.
