Adam was born June 2, 1963 to George Irvine Bock II and Joyce Sivley Bock. Adam is survived by his wife of 23 years, Andrea “Andee” Lay Bock and daughter, Carson Bock, both of Signal Mountain.
As a Baylor School faculty kid, Adam resided on campus until his father’s retirement. His family then moved to Signal Mountain, where he remained throughout his adult life with his wife and daughter.
Adam graduated high school from both the Baylor School and Red Bank High School.
He went to McKenzie College and the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC) for his undergraduate education. He later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from UTC. He was employed by Mayfield Dairy farms for over 30 years, and more recently worked for Republic Services.
He loved spending time with his wife and daughter anywhere they could be together, but especially Chester Frost Campground, Disney and the beach. He loved reading, camping and fishing at every opportunity. Adam was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Sivley Bock and George Irvine Bock II; and mother-in-law Patsy Maples Lay.
He is also survived by sisters Melody (Gary) Bock Womble and Jane Bock, brother George (Jamy) Bock III, several nieces and nephews, and father-in-law Gilbert “Gibby” (June) Lay.

Services and visitation will be held at Signal Crest United Methodist Church. Visitation will occur from 4pm - 7 pm on Thursday, November 21st and 10am - 11am on Friday, November 22nd. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Friday with fellowship immediately following. Services will be officiated by Rev. Bill Thornton, Rev. Von Dunn, and Rev. Kenneth Holcomb
