Paul was born in Toronto, Canada on June 9th, 1951 to Paul and Margaret Gregg. Paul graduated from Needham High School in Needham, Massachusetts in 1969.
Paul enjoyed all sport activities including swimming, tennis and wrestling. He was also interested in music. He played in the Needham High School band, swing band, orchestra, and sang in the chorus. In 1968, Paul had the opportunity to perform, at the World's Fair in Montreal.
He was a lifelong avid reader and loved to spend his free time with his dogs.
As a young man, Paul enjoyed traveling and living in various parts of the country. He traveled to Europe twice, hitchhiking and once with his brother Donald.
At 42, Paul went back to college eventually earning his Master's Degree in Education. In 2002, He had the good fortune to find his true calling as a tutor/reading specialist at Orleans Elementary School in Orleans, Massachusetts. Paul brought his humor, life experiences and a serious commitment to supporting his students. Paul retired in 2016 but continued to teach in a variety of capacities. He also volunteered in many organizations including Cape Cod Hospital, Yarmouth Meals on Wheels, and the Cape Cod Literacy Council.
Paul leaves brother, Donald and his wife Bettina. Two nieces, Amanda and Kimberly, their husbands, Imai and Tim. Four grandnephews, Holden, Patrick, Tommy and Jack. Finally leaves behind a long time friend, Bill Wimer.

There will be no funeral but a memorial service will be performed at Sea.
