Bruce was born on May 11, 1953, in New Orleans, LA, the son of Emmett Bruce Williams and Dorothy Viola Frey Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Williams of Chatham; son, Wes (Marsha) Watson of Crystal Lake, IL; daughter, Valerie (Ryan) Hypke of Normal, IL; grandson, Luke; brother, Dudley (Gina) Williams of Covington, LA; and niece and nephew, Carl and Hannah.
Bruce earned his Master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Sr. Account Executive for 26 years. Bruce enjoyed traveling, cooking, crawfish boils, live music and concerts, and watching NFL and college football, especially his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints.
Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham, 8855 State Rt. 4, Chatham with Pastor Jay Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
