Mildred “Millie “Ann McDaniel, passed away peacefully and ended her long battle with cancer on January, 11 2023 at the age 70. She was born January, 12 1952, in Charlottesville, Virginia. She had a love for the outdoors, cook-outs, gardening, cooking, lounging at the beach, and spending time with her family. In her last days, she missed going to work and being with her coworkers, friends and customers at Sam’s Club. She was also employed at Leggett’s and Montgomery Ward for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Reuben Dabney Carver JR, Two brothers; Donald Wayne Carver, Michael Dabney Carver all of Charlottesville Va. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, beloved husband of 52 years, James “Jimmie” Harim McDaniel; two sons, Bryan McDaniel and wife Sheri; Stephen McDaniel and one daughter, Stacey McDaniel all of Charlottesville Va., four grandchildren; Calli, Mandy, Trenton, and McKenzie McDaniel, all of Charlottesville; Mother, Nellie Violet Carver; one brother, Gregory Carver, both of Charlottesville. Two sisters; Sharon Sapin and husband Robert of Keswick Va., Sandra Hopfensperger and fiancé Tim Kerns of Orange Va. Many nieces and nephews We would like to thank Hospice of the Piedmont and University Of Virginia Cancer Unit for all their support, kind, and wonderful care. She will be laid to rest at a Graveside Funeral at Riverview Cemetery, 1701 Chesapeake St., Charlottesville Virginia on Wednesday, January 18th 2023 at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the Cemetery. Teague Funeral Home will be in charge of the funeral arrangements.
