Born November 04, 1937, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Manilla A. Carter.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Alvin Hicks, and daughter Denise.
Mary is survived by her daughters Gwendolyn and husband Michael, and Ellen and husband Todd and eight grandchildren.
The family will have a private gathering and a graveside service on Monday, December 9, 2024.
